“ My husband and I were craving Chinese food. We live in Texas so we were unsure if we could find a place that has good food but also economical. Well we DID! We passed by this gem and noticed the busy traffic they had. Always a great sign when a restaurant has constant traffic. We parked and went inside to find an entire menu of food under $5. We got back to our Vrbo and stuffed our faces. The food quality was amazing. ”
“ Holy crap. The portions, the flavor and the price are all hard to beat. A combo meal, priced at $6.85, is easily enough for 2 meals potentially 3 if you're not a big eater. Both the orange chicken and the jalapeño chicken were fantastic. Couldn't recommend this place more ”
“ Huge portions is an understatement. My friend is local to Denver and suggested we go to a $1 scoop place. It was the first time I've heard of that, and wow! When ordering, we just ordered a regular plate, and I guess they count the scoops on their end? The picture of my plate was about $7 and some change. It also included a canned drink! I accidentally sent the staff into a laughing fit, but it was great to share some laughs before heading out. I would come back! ”
“ The deal of NW Denver. Think Panda Express, in both the order structure and menu options, but half the price and triple the food. $6.85 for a combo plate of a carb (steamed rice, fried rice, or lo mein) and two proteins, a side of either (2) cheese wontons or (1) eggroll, AND a can of soda. You see how much lo mein they heap into the platter and you think "that's a great /sized portion" then they go for a second scoop. They have all the entrees you are used to: orange chicken, beef and broccoli, kung pao chicken, etc. Get the jalapeño chicken over the kung pao IMO. It's a wicked deal. Is it gourmet? No. Is it cheap? Hell yes. Take it to go and you got yourself dinner and second dinner. ”
“ OHHH I have been cheating, and this place is not much to look at, it is a TAKE FOOD OUT PLACE! But!! Service is more than pleasant: "you don't want more food!" NO! My dog and I can't eat that much, then we no charge, yes you must charge me for your food. This goes on for a few moments, and I do pay for what my dog and I can eat. Geezzz I hope you are laughing when reading this! Becuz it's a true story over the last 6 months when I found this corner Asian eatery with great food. We only order 2 things each time, the same delicious items! The Portions are huge: I have to plead, as in "BEG! PLEASE NOT SO MUCH FOOD!!" I love the fried rice and shrimp without the peppers, SO DOES MY DOG!! It is CHEAP AND HUGE! Litterally I must beg, please LESS FOOD! And the cost of the delicious Rice & Shrimp (am admitting as a vegetarian, I love their fried Shrimp) so does my dog, she salavates for the tails! This is a giggle, yet, off of Sheridan and 38th, there is a little side parking spot, people move in and out quickly, while inside are the incredible aromas of multiple choices of everything that might be at an expensive location. The interior is not great, my dog and I go to the park to eat and enjoy the fare of meal for just $5.25 HUGE PORTIONS, I can't eat that much, my dog does! IT'S DANG GOOD! NOW I'M HUNGRY~ We have to go and beg PLEASE NOT SO MUCH OF YOUR GREAT FOOD! ”
